Movie Review
So, I recently watched the original and the remake of House on Haunted Hill from 1959 and 1999, respectively. I was impressed with Vincent Price’s role in the first movie and was curious about how they would remake it in the modern adaptation. In the remake, Geoffrey Rush plays the role of Steven Price, based off of Vincent Price accidentally. He really makes this movie work. Although the original had no real ghosts, the remake does not stay true to this fact. I can say that a lot of things were done right with this movie, but unfortunately there were a couple of things done wrong. Would love to hear people’s opinions!
